Who is a Pre-Cana Retreat for?

Pre Cana Retreats are for couples preparing for marriage and working to discover what is God desiring of them in this vocation. Couples from any parish are welcome to join us for Pre-Cana Retreat Weekends at the Basilica.

 

*Before registering for a Pre-Cana Retreat, please ensure you have had at least one meeting with a priest to begin preparations for your marriage.*

What can I expect at a Pre-Cana Retreat?

• Sessions led by married couples, professionals, and priests.

• Time for discussion, guided check-ins and breakout sessions to dive deeper and create goals for your marriage.

• An evening social on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday

• The $100 registration fee covers all materials and meals for bride and groom as well as stipends for the speakers and facilitator.

• Sessions take place over a weekend, Friday from 6pm-9pm and Saturday from 9:00am-3:30pm

• The cost of the retreat is $100. This pays for three meals, stipends for speakers and facilitator, and use of facilities. Payment guarantees registration and should be made at least a month prior to the date of retreat.
